In a delightful new way to freshen up the FPS, Valve has added a randomization feature that will change the layout of a level, closing off and opening up areas during every new round.

When a point is not in play, routes to that section of the map are physically blocked off, so the physical shape of the map is different for every combination of points. That forces you to revise your mental picture of the map, and see it as fresh again.

I guess I can call that unique, but with FPS,' there's barely any strategy needed, at least from my experiences with the genre.

At least it will stop them people who only play on levels they know back to front and win on all the time. Interesting stuff.

Didn't they do this on Havana? (A counter strike map)
