Electronic Theatre offers details on the now officially announced publishing agreement between Take-Two and Rockstar Games. The agreement inlcudes bonus incentives and will run until 2012.

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. today announced that it has established a new incentive compensation program for the Rockstar Games label that is primarily based on a profit sharing arrangement, and at the same time has entered into new long-term employment agreements with members of the creative team of its wholly-owned Rockstar Games publishing label. The new employment agreements have an initial term ending on January 31st, 2012.

    I guess this means more GTA games for the future, i can see it being good for Take Two. I don't see how much the gamers will benefit though GTA is pretty much a shell of what it used to be.

    Yeah, if the trend continues, GTA games will be made even MORE realistic (is that even possible?!). However, I disagree with it being a shell of it's former self. I think that the free roaming and aimless killing in GTA games has naturally ran it's course with certain people (personally I can take it or leave it), and people are just bored by the concept of it nowadays.
