Halo At Half Price This Week

The popular Halo game that started a pop-culture phenomenon is now only half-priced on Xbox Live. Gamers can purchase Halo: Combat Evolved for only $7, as opposed to paying $15.

Assuming Microsoft doesn't extend the Deal of the Week program past the end of December, this'll be the last bargain they throw at you. Not sure how well this game's gonna sell once Christmas arrives and everyone's flush with new games but still, kudos to Microsoft for lowering the price on one of the good Xbox Originals.

    Awesome, now I can finally buy the game for less than if I were to buy a physical copy of it (still selling for around $13 on eBay, sealed copies)

    I still doubt many people will get this for Christmas.
    Old and dated, and the people who cared for Halo, would have it by now.

    Not give a bad name for it thoug- great game, and tons of people still play online!

      I've actually been thinking about buying the game since it is on sale. I would like to know how the whole thing started since I really don't know having only played the third one.

        Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same situation since I never owned the original Xbox. I wish I could connect to Live right now and get it.
