DSiWare, the downloadable games service for Nintendo's newest handheld, the Nintendo DSi, has launched in Japan, with thirteen downloadble titles available, ranging from the animation software Ugoku Memo Chou (Moving Memo Pad - Check out the stuff that's already been created) to new games in Nintendo's Art Style series.

For those who already own a DSi, a firmware upgrade is required to access the new DS Shop. You will also be given 1000 DSiWare Points when you connect. You can replenish these points with any Nintendo Points card.

  • A Little Brain Training: Arts Edition: 800 DSiWare Points, 67 blocks

  • Pyoro (Bird and Bean): 200 DSiWare Points, 14 blocks
  • A Little Asobi Taizen Odegaru Trumps: 500 DSiWare Points, 30 blocks
  • Magic Taizen Scary Numbers: 200 DSiWare Points, 22 blocks
  • Magic Taizen Three Shuffle Games: 200 DSiWare Points, 23 blocks
  • Magic Taizen Funny Face: 200 DSiWare Points, 24 blocks
  • Moving Memo Pad: Free, 84 blocks
  • Paper Airplane: 200 DSiWare Points, 14 blocks

    So it has. The current titles don't really impress me to much. But, I suppose over time, it'll improve.
