A brief article about the graphical similarities between The Sims 3 and PlayStation Home. The screenshots compare the character models and the texture and lighting effects.

I already know a lot of people are going to complain about the screenshot comparison and how ridiculous and trivial it is. Okay, point taken. But for everyone else out there who seems to think that these two software titles share a similar taste in visual style, here's a comparison to show you just how close their visual appearances are.

The approver couldn't see 'Playstation' spelled wrong in the title? I thought it was the Spanish version for a minute.

Really, this comparison is just stupid. I hate to sound like FB, but Home is in no way an emulation of life like the Sims are...

I've just be reiterating the facts about Home. Anyone who compares Home to Sims are tools.

I agree with Seeker, comparing the sims which is based off real world to A FREAKING ONLINE NETWORKING APPLICATION, TO HELP BUILD STRONG ONLINE COMMUNITIES AND SET UP ONLINE ROOMS WITHIN THE GAMES, NEED A REALITY CHECK. In fact, I'm pretty sure people who do this kind of comparisons are fanboys.

And before you ask, Vortis i'm not talking about you.

Yes you are right, In home the guy is wearing a pink shirt, and in the Sims 3 pic the guy is wearing a blue top.

      JK, Merry Christmas btw.
