GS Announces Fallout 3 as their Game of the Year

GamingShogun has announced their 'Game of the Year' winner for 2008 as Fallout 3. For those of you who do not know, Fallout 3 is the eagerly-anticipated third installment of an incredible RPG series stretching back far into the world of VGA resolution. They praise its engrossing world and dark-humor.

December is that special time of year when gaming websites all over the Internet begin to create their 'favorite games' and 'best of' lists and, as to not be left out in the cold we are doing the same thing. So read on for blatant un-original content Shogunites...

    Good, i'm glad. Of course i'd have prefered it to be MGS, but still. It's a worthy winner, certainly more deserving than GTA.

      Yeah, I would definitely say more deserving than GTA. Although Bethsoft would have a sure-fire hit if the game was good, the Fallout fanboys (I include myself) would have turned on them in a heartbeat if the game was not so good, claiming it 'bastardized THEIR franchise', etc. We are a fickle, fickle bunch.

    I played Fallout 3 and it wasn't my sort of game. I don't really like RPG's but I can understand why some people enjoy it.

    MGS4 was my game of the year by a long shot

    Who else when reading "GS" in the title thought "Gamespot"?
    In any case all I can say is that it's GOTY for very obvious reasons. Loved it, and still do.

      I did at first until seeing the "GamingShogun" part. I personally think the game came out too late to be game of the year. Personally I feel MGS4 deserves the title. But to each their own.

      I also thought GameSpot until I saw that it was JelalTrueShot who posted it. No offense intended, JelalTrueShot.
      Anyway, I haven't played Fallout 3, but I've heard a lot about it.

    Fallout 3 and MGS4 both deserve to be GOTY in my eyes, so seeing either one win makes me contempt.

    thank God. friggin GTA4 doesnt deserve it. Fallout 3 well deserves GOTY.
