So. Call of duty has been the best selling game in the whole of the UK for the 5 weeks before christmas. A month before christmas, FIFA wasn't even in the top 10 best selling games at the time. But now it's worked it's way all the way to the top selling game in the UK. Thats right, FIFA 09 on the Playstation 3.
Of course, we cant say otherwise about Activision or Nintendo, even though the companies could be a bit upset they did not manage to break some records with their titles. But maybe next year until then, here are the bestselling titles in the UK:
1. FIFA 09
2. Call of Duty: World at War
3. Mario Kart Wii
4. Need For Speed Undercover
5. Dr Kawashimas Brain Training
6. Wii Play
7. Quantum of Solace
8. Professor Layton and the Curious Village
9. Tomb Raider Underworld
10. Wii Fit

However, I am surprised that the list isn't littered with Wii shovelware.
5. Dr Kawashimas Brain Training
6. Wii Play
10. Wii Fit
I see alot of women and children have been shopping lately.
And there's the FIFA licence as well which means you get a *bleep*tonne of leagues, teams and player appearances.
Because honestly, that top sellers list is pretty bland.
Looks like casual gamers have struck the markets for christmas.
Call of Duty would have been the only one I would have wanted though.
except when the Japanese start hacking.....
And please, lord monkey doesn't even have a Wii. Why would he want Mario Kart?
