-Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 will be released in Japan around late August. (THIS DOES NOT MEAN AN AMERICAN VERSION WILL NOT BE RELEASED. THIS IS ONLY CONFIRMING THE JAPANESE DATE.)

-Music
-It will have over 50 new songs.
It will have carefully selected licenses and mentions "super popular" North American songs as licenses.
-KONAMI originals will be developed with the idea that it will be "fun to play" by popular BEMANI artists; all players' expectations and expected to be met reasonably.
-It will include more songs from past Dance Dance Revolution games.

Battle Mode
-A new feature known as "Team Battle" will be avaliable as a series of events that will be held regularly over a long period of time.
DDR players can organise into "teams" and can battle each other.
