Poem hides new game

ITANI | May 09, 2007 | News | Misc
What I was able to realise is that this poem indicates a 4th game in a series. I mean the 4 lines, 4 symbols must mean something right? The poem made me also think of Lair for the PS3 but I'm not totally sure what game this poem represents. What do you think?
Earlier this evening we were accosted by a well-known developer in a dark alley. Or possibly an email. They thrust a mysterious piece of parchment into our hands and told us that our readers held the key to deciphering it.

Apparently the poem below holds the secret to a new game announcement, and if you can unlock the clues you can follow the Internet highway to the source of the information. We're not supposed to help you, which is good, because we're all idiots.

Before the figure scurried out of our sight he (or she, perhaps) left us with one final thought:

The words provide the clues.
The letters points to three cities of Gaia.
The intricate web holds secrets to the dream of fallen earth.
A GRIM, ODD, ARCANE SKY
ANY GOD, I MARK SACRED
A MASKED CRY ADORING
A DREAMY, SICK DRAGON
All will be revealed when one of you lot works it all out. Better get cracking, hadn't you?

I don't see how it could be Lair if it is supposed to be a new game announcement.

    Maybe it's Spyro the Dragon?

    99% not likely though.

The only thing I noticed is that each line contains the same letters. It looks like an anagram to me, but it could take forever to find the right one.

WiiAreUS you have a good point there. Do you think that's just mere coincidence or does it mean something? I thought it might be the next God of War, but there are no dragons in Greek mythology.

Having the same letters in each line doesn't seem like a coincidence to me. That would be one heck of a coincidence. I think they made the four lines discribing the game, and then they all make the same anagram with a fifth clue. (my guess)

Sounds like a new FF title to me, dragons are in FF stories.

FF XIII, FF Versus XIII and this? Seems unlikely.
