Popular Japanese rock singer and all-round sexy guy Gackt is slowly taking over Japanese games, one by one. In the past few years he has lent his likeness to the Devil May Cry-styled Bujingai, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and the pachislot game Gladiator. He has also written quite a few songs for various video games and has appeared in a number of gaming commercials, including Metal Gear Solid 2.
Now Gackt's likeness will also appear in the upcoming PS3 game Bounty Killer. He has also been credited as the game's Sound Producer, and his latest single "Justified" will be the game's theme song.
Don't get your hopes up over the game's title though... It was previously a pachinko parlour game, so don't expect much.
But back to the game at hand, Bounty Killer. This one is unique in that for the first time, Gackt's not just lending his likeness - he's also the sound producer. According to his comment page, he contributed one song, called "Justified" - and maybe "supervised" the rest. And whoever composed the rest of the music was clearly inspired by Gackt's old legacy, as the song on the original game's page is clearly an homage to his Malice Mizer days, and could easily be an into to one of their songs. Unfortunately, all this excitement is just for a pachislot game. Quite distressing, in the end. They're really milking this though - there are even wrist bands and key rings you can buy.

Not pleasant, I tell you!
Then again, why would Genesis need to gamble?
That had a strangely sexual undertone.
