We've heard of people stealing a Wii, we've heard of people stealing thousands of Nintendo DS consoles. Here's a new one though, stealing a drum kit.
Thomas Joy and Michael Bullis, with the aid of a baseball bat, sword and alcohol, threatened their victims in front of their children made their theft and were promptly caught and taken in by the authorities.

One first-degree assault charge alleges he struck the man living in the apartment in the face with a baseball bat, causing "visible cuts" to his mouth, according to court documents. A second-degree assault charge alleges he then kicked the man in the face and torso multiple times "under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life," causing bruising and cuts, the court documents say.
At Joy's arraignment, Assistant County Attorney Dorothy Walch said the victim's children were present at the time of the alleged assault and burglary and a sword was put to the victim's throat at one point during the incident.
