Star Ocean: The Last Hope Xbox 360 Bundle Announced in Japan

Square Enix and Microsoft have announced that they will be releasing a special bundle for the RPG giant's upcoming tri-Ace RPG, Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Titled the 'Arcade Xbox 360 Star Ocean 4 Premium Pack', the contents include:

  • an Arcade Xbox 360
  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope game
  • Star Ocean Sound Best Collection soundtrack
  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope faceplate

This premium pack will retail for 24,800 yen. Star Ocean: The Last Hope is set to release in Japan on February 19th, and will release in North America on March 3rd. You can check out the official site for the game here.

    If this goes like Tales of Vesperia did at all then Japan will be facing an XBOX shortage again. >_>

    I like the face plate. I don't agree with mixing 'premium' with the arcade version. I think it would be better to offer a collector's edition sold separate rather then tying it to one system variation, unless of course they are doing this as well. It's not like they are getting such a great deal buying it. I think it equals out to getting the faceplate and the soundtrack for free.
