Alongside the Star Ocean: The Last Hope bundle, another Xbox 360 bundle was announced in Japan today, one for Capcom's upcoming survival horror Resident Evil 5. The 'Xbox 360 Biohazard 5 Premium Pack' contains the following:

  • Xbox 360 Premium
  • Biohazard 5 Deluxe Edition, which includes:
    • Biohazard 5/Resident Evil 5
    • Biohazard 5 Selection Track soundtrack CD
    • 48-hour Xbox Live Gold membership card
  • code for a Biohazard 5 Premium Theme

This bundle will retail for 34,800 yen. Resident Evil 5 releases in Japan on March 5th, while hitting the rest of the world on March 13th. You can find the official site for the game here.

    Possibly to raise sales in the 360.

    But I think that (in japan) the PS3 version will dominate.

    Honestly don't see why they'd bundle multi-platform games, even if it is a series like RE. :S Meh, perhaps like dwg said, it'll raise sales over in Japan.

      So people would buy this version over the other, and to attract people who are interested in the game but not necessarily have the console yet.

      And also, the collectors; but then again, there's no faceplate...

        Yeah but...this is Japan...PS3 dominates much more there. The only edge 360 has had is with the J-RPGs, and some games like Dead or Alive.

          They have their own bundle AND a TriCell logo on the PS3?? Win.
