EA has brought out news of a standalone expansion to Red Alert 3 called Uprising. It will continue the story from Red Alert 3 as well as introduce a new gameplay mode. In case you are unfamiliar with the game, RA3 posits that the Soviet Premiere had a time machine with which to travel back to change our present. The result is a modern-day nightmare with the Soviets, US, and Empire of the Sun all vying for dominance. The expansion will release in March.

Also from Electronic Arts today comes the announcement of the first expansion to Command & Conquer Red Alert 3. Called 'Uprising', the stand-alone expansion is due out on the PC this March and will be eligible for digital download. The expansion picks up where the base game left off, with all the empires of Earth in their own turmoil and troubles, as well as introducing a new 'Commander's Challenge' gameplay...
