Sony's highly anticipated game, Killzone 2 is almost upon us. Before we know it will be enjoying the full blast of the single player campaign. But how long will that last? Well about 10 hours long. Depending on if you just do the single player and nothing more.

During the Sony presentation at this year’s CES, Guerrilla Games’ Hermen Hulst was talking about their upcoming AAA title, “Killzone 2.” During the presentation, we got to hear more about things we already knew. The game will feature destructible environments, the camera will mimic the player’s eyes, dynamic music, etc. One piece of information given, though, is something we haven’t officially heard before: “Killzone 2″ will offer most gamers about 10 hours of single-player gameplay.

I remember them saying each level was 45 mins long. That's about ten, maybe eleven levels within 10 hours. 10 hours is good for an FPS.

And i assume thats doing it pretty fast and not dying a few times which will happen. I think for the good gamer 10 hours might be possible but for the rest i would say 15 hours for those that do die and savour the graphics.

10 hours is a fantastic length. Certainly looking to be a game worthy of a firstday purchase possibly.

I thought it would be a bit longer, the 45 min per level claim and all. But 10 hours is fine.

Hopefully the levels don't drag on for too long, I feel that's what Resistance 2's campaign did for the most part. In another note...Killzone 2's online will take forever...and I know this because it took me a while just to be able to use the Medic (First available) class.

FPS games are for the multiplayer anyway. A 10 hour game would normally be on the trading block, but I already got this one reserved.

10 Hours is not long, but as most of you know, FPS's such as Resistance and Halo 3 only take at LEAST 6 hours to complete, which in my first playthrough i got nowhere near. So this is very good news for me, this will brobably take me 30 hours to complete in my first playthrough.

Tripling the game length on one playthrough? Do you go throughout everything searching far and wide for every nook and cranny, all while being on the hardest difficulty? That's a long time to stretch a game, but oh well, as long as you enjoy it.

Some people just don't like to rush their games. There seems to be a big thing about spending £40 on a game and then trying to finish it as fast as you can.

I understand playing through twice as long but to go through it at triple the length is crazy. It's his/her game so do whatever, just I myself would never have the patience to play that slow.

10 hours seems like a good length. Most action games don't have a longer playthough time to increase replayability especially if done in co-op. I wouldn't go assuming more/less for the average user when the statement was this would apply to most players. At least we know that however big the size of the code is, it's not going to be applied to extending the campaign beyond the norm with probably unessential filler. This is one game I'm looking forward to trying out.

Nah, it's mostly because I play with my brother and he's not so good, he goes for the stay and don't come out of cover no matter what, then someone comes behind him and kills him. I mean, it took me and my brother 23 hours on the first playthrough of MGS4, and as you guys know, it could take 1hr and 40 mins. I do like to kil EVERYONE I can find too, I don't like to skipp a couple of people because it's too hard. And also my parents don't like buying a £40 game and it takes half a day to complete.

Oh ok, as long as you're enjoying your game it doesn't really matter how you play it.

I'll probably only play single player for trophies and get the hang of gameplay so 10 hours sounds pretty good to me.
