Game Addict Attempts Suicide By Swallowing Saw Blades

A 23-year-old Chinese game addict has attempted to commit suicide by swallowing saw blades, China Daily reports. The man had apparently been addicted to games since junior high school, but his condition had gotten far worse in recent years.
He is now recovering in hospital.

A man addicted to computer games swallowed five pieces of saw blade to commit suicide.

Fu, 23, kept talking incoherently about how to win his favorite computer games, even after being sent to a Beijing hospital ICU for round-the-clock emergency treatment on Sunday.

He has been addicted to computer games since early in junior high school, but his condition worsened recently, said his parents.

    ??? file this story under the wtf category.

    If you going to off yourself, at least do yourself a favor and find some relatively quick and painless way. Not swallowing saw blades (??!), not being successful, and then ending up as a worldwide laughing stock.

    Ya that'll make your life better dude. Nice one! Should have just stayed a video game addict.

    I'm pretty sure if he played a horrible game, like some of the shovelware on the Wii, it would break his gaming habit.

    I wonder if anyone shouted at him and by saying "URDOINITWRONG! Slice up your arm vertically, they can't repair it then"

    I'm 21, addicted to games but to hell with swallowing some shit like that or even attempting suicide over a few pixels
