When SlapStic.com posted an article exactly one week ago asking Microsoft to raise the low friend limit on Xbox Live, little hubbub was made other than a response from Major Nelson. Now, it seems that the article might have turned some heads in within Microsoft headquarters after all. The friend limit is being raised.

I'm not gloating or anything, but it'd be hard to deny that SlapStic had something to do with this one. Exactly a week to the day after I posted an article entitled "Dear Microsoft, PLEASE Raise The Friend Limit On Xbox Live," Microsoft has announced that they plan to do exactly that. According to this post by Joystiq, Microsoft could be quoted as saying "We've absolutely heard the pleas for that. It's on the list."

Sweet. Had to lower my friends list here and there to prevent from hitting the limit, so now hopefully I won't have that problem.

Good move on Microsofts part. More friends you can have, the better. I know my friend gets mad when I start adding all my friends on his 360.
