Carbonox_Ratchet of the playstation.com boards has come up with an interesting theory as to whether Resident Evil 5 will be Albert Wesker's last game. It has been hinted at that RE5 will be "the beginning of the end"... Could this be the final RE game in the Umbrella/Wesker/Chris plotline? Will Chris finally defeat his nemesis once and for all?

The latest trailers may not have revealed a truck load of story spoilers but it sure as heck showcased forms of desperation where the cast and their roles are concerned.

However, the biggest character to stand out in the trailers was of course the main antagonist, Albert Wesker.

What is his role in Resident Evil 5? Is it a role that can continue any further or did you feel that the trailer was more than enough to make you believe that this could really be the closure to so many things? It was stated before that the game will bring closure to many of the franchise's mysteries and plots, so could Albert Wesker's role in Resident Evil be heading to a closure too?

The rivalry between Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker can only last so long. It's been three games now and there's still no closure. Judging by the trailers, the sheer desperation on both of their faces indicated that someone will meet their end during the game.
