Resident Evil 5 Demo Dated for Worldwide Release

Electronic Theatre report on the announcement of an Xbox360 exclsuive demo for Resident Evil 5 due to launch on January 26th, 2009, and available for one week.

A PS3 demo might follow on the 27th.

Xbox 360 gamers worldwide won't have to wait until March 13, 2009 to get their hands on the highly-anticipated "Resident Evil 5." The next installment of the landmark survival horror franchise from Capcom will take action to a new level with a two-level, playable demo available exclusively on Xbox 360 for one week beginning Monday, January 26.

    Holy shit, I must get this when it comes out! I've been lately having orgasms at the mere mention of this game, but a demo makes my knees shake too.

    Wait so this is saying that the Xbox360 users get the RE5 demo exclusively for a week THEN the PS3 people get it? or its only gonna be available for a week?

      It's ONLY on 360. Though my guess is PS3 owners will still get the "super special HD trailer". Yeah, that's right, the one we've all seen already...

    Just great.Something really interesting that could be on PSN and we get shafted.

    I guess we have to continue settling for crap on PSN while XBL get all the cool stuff.

    I just e-mailed the editor of the site that wrote this article and he says it's not an Xbox360 exclusive - just that it'll be on Xbox360 exclusively for a week, then be on PS3 too!

    A sequel to one of the best games of this century? I'm down. Glad it's coming to both Live and PSN. No one likes discrimination.
