Capcom has announced release details for their upcoming action RPG port, Monster Hunter G for the Wii. The game will be shipping on April 23rd, with a retail price of 3990 yen. Included with the game will be a demo of the also upcoming Wii release of Monster Hunter 3 tri~ which is purportedly going to release later this year or early next year.

Also announced by Capcom, along with Nintendo, is a special classic controller that supports a Monster Hunter G-inspired design. This will be sold standalone, but will also be packaged with the game in the Monster Hunter G Starter Pack which will retail for 5220 yen.

    I heard about this. My question is, how could they possibly make it any better? Surely they can't make it a straight port. That would be a great disappointment.
