Well originally we all believed Wii Music would be a big load of fail. First came the horrible advertisements, then all the negative feedback in blogs and reviews alike. We also read articles such as this one.

Daemon Hatfield of au.wii.ign.com brings us the news that really, Wii Music is doing alright for itself. In fact, try 865,465 sold and that's just for North America.

Wii Music is a definite success with 865,465 units sold so far in North America alone. That number wasn't enough to get it into the top 10 for the year, but it's still an impressive amount and the 35th best-selling game of the year. Nintendo raked in over $41 million on the toy.
