Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Videogame company Capcom have a great line up of titles this year, Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV just the tip of the iceberg. But whether these games will even come to Australia and New Zealand is now up in the air. Red Ant,Capcom's third party distributor have given signs that they may have had a falling out with their partner, and with some games just weeks away, shipping them in time could be tough.
For the record, as Capcom doesnt have a local office here in Australia and New Zealand, it relies on external distributors to manage marketing, aid media and push the retail copies out to shops on launch day. After many years with THQ, Capcom moved to Activision in late 2006 ahead of its merger with Vivendi. Last year, Capcom shifted homes again, landing in the hands of budding new distributor Red Ant.
But the Japanese-based Capcom are notoriously difficult to deal with. Weve had more than one PR manager of distributors past sigh with secret relief at the loss of the contract. And our inside word is that things have gone pear-shaped in a big way at Red Ant. While trying to chase down some Capcom related prizes this morning, we were told by a Red Ant representative that we dont do Capcom anymore.

My dream would come true if Capcom became a Nintendo 2nd Party, then Capcom's money crisis would be over and I'd stop missing out on those games I miss out on!
But seriously, that sucks bad. Must we ALWAYS get shafted -_-
