Carissa Lynch, a young child from Australia has some innovative means of acquiring herself a PlayStation: busking. Seems she's been playing violin at busker festival Tamworth to save up for a PlayStation 2 -- though with $350 earned over the weekend, looks like she'll be heading for the PS3.
Tamworth could not come too soon for Carissa, who had been hopping from foot to foot for months in anticipation of playing in Tamworth's famous buskers alley, Peel Street, a long stretch of road with scores of performers so close together they almost formed one vast continuous band. It was not so much that she wanted to dazzle people with her violin playing, though she certainly did that. It was more that she wanted to raise enough money to buy what any budding nine-year-old violinist would want a PlayStation.

I wish I could save up money for a PS3, I've been trying to for the past few weeks but I've got bills to pay and I keep buying small stuff that adds up.
I wonder if I can pull off the same act, even though I am 15 and not a little girl with pigtails and a violin?
I can make farting sounds with my armpits, that should rake in 5 bucks -_-
No but I really think that she only got all the moneys because she's only
9 if a 40 year old wanted a playstation, they'd give him a nickel. Seriously.
