With a Bar Graph included, Gaming Target examines all of the Exclusive Games scheduled for release this year. While Wii places first, there's a battle between PS3 and Xbox 360 that could settle the next-gen console war.

"In this update, we focus solely on exclusive titles scheduled to be released in 2009."

Most of the 360 "exclusives" in that chart are not exclusives, for PC versions have been and will be announced... Age of Conan (PC), Two World (PC), Champions Online (PC). And Halo features in that list about 3 times...

      1. These are "Console Exclusives." If a game appears on the PC and only one console, it's exclusive to that console. Also, due to the limitations of the DS and PSP, any game that appears on only one console and a handheld is considered exclusive to that console.

While the list is made up of "Console Exclusives," starred games (*) are titles that are also available on the PC.

Just thought I would throw that out there..

Halo, SO, Killzone and Uncharted....gonna be a gooooooood year for me.

The Conduit doesn't look bad, either.

Maybe it was more of a 'Company Exclusive' thing, Xbox and the PC, get what I mean?

Yeah, and besides, DC Universe Online is for PS3 and PC.

When PC version sales actually put a noticeable dent into the sales of 360 versions of PC/360 games, then I'll finally accept the "it's not an exclusive" argument.

When in a discussion about console gaming, it'd be pretty *bleep* to leave out those games. Relax anyway, they aren't that huge of games, so you don't need to start whittling down the 360's list for whatever reason you got. Besides, Greenberg confirmed there are still announcements.

Of every game listed, I want 8 for the PS3, 2 for the 360, and 2 for the Wii. Go figure.

For the Wii: The Conduit, Deadly Creatures, MadWorld and the TMNT game will get my cash most likely.

PS3: Heavy Rain, and possibly GoW III and Twisted Metal, though the odds of seeing the latter are slim for this year.

X360: Mass Effect 2...surprised that isn't on the list. It's mentioned, but not on the damn list, lol. Anyway, Star Ocean and Splinter Cell have caught my eye.

Woohoo! There's a lot of great games coming out this year. Star Ocean 4, Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST, Arc Rise Fantasia, Mad World, Sin and Punishment 2 and Muramasa: The Demon Blade are going to be at the top of my list. Though, I wish I had a PS3 to experience Killzone 2.

2009 is looking to be a great year for all sides!

And... I'm glad to see the third parties showing some effort on the Wii. We needed this.

Looking good for the PS3, looks like a lot of potential on that list.

The amount of exclusives doesn't mean much. The quality of the exclusives will be what truly matters.

Spose that's a point to make, which console has the BEST lineup?

      Gamesta100 Jan 22, 09
Yes it is supposed to make a point. The point is that if one console has 50 exclusives but only 10 great exclusives while one only has 20 exclusives but 15 of them are great, then it doesn't matter that the other console has the most exclusives.

Of course all that all depends on each persons personal preferences.

As to which I think has the best lineup, I wouldn't know as I barely checked the actual article.I have more important things to spend my money on than another console to play games that I can't play on the PS3.Believe me, if I had the money I would gladly go out and buy a 360 as it has more games I would like to play than the Wii.

I can't help it of I tend to think to much of something. So say all you want about my comments, because I don't particularly care if someone finds them to be worthless, stupid or insignificant.

I'm interested in Pikmin 3 (GC games are incredibly hard to come by around where I live, and I've heard good things about the series) and Punch-Out!!, as a Wii owner.

Shame there's so much crap coming out for the Wii, but, given the influx of casual gamers, it's no surprise.

To me it looks like most of the Wii exclusives will be poo. The Wii has become waaay too family orientated, the only thing that seems decent is Pikmin 3. Three Halo games is just stupid, I really hope they axe 'Halo: Chronicles'...

God Of War III, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, inFamous, Heavy Rain, MAG - some awesome games coming out for the PS3 this year.

360 has very little there that interests me. Too many RPGs, not enough action games, which the PS3 is firing out all over the place.

I'm not a fangirl, because I enjoy both my PS3 and my Xbox 360, but the PS3 has a better lineup this year in terms of exclusives. I'm especially looking forward to Heavy Rain.
