So many developers still finding it hard to code games on to the PS3 with a average 60 frame rate per second. EA talks about the Army of Two displaying on the PS3 at 30fps, while the 360 at 60 fps.

An EA developer has called in to let us know that he believes the Xbox 360 will triumph over the PS3 due to its better performance and more rounded support. These claims come on the revelation that development of Army of Two on the Xbox 360 manages to yield a maximum of 60fps while the PS3 version struggles to reach 30fps currently. Army of Two is expected to hit retail shelves during November.

Funny how Team Ninja can get Ninja Gaiden Sigma at 1080p and 60fps and how they publicly made a statement that developers that were complaining about the PS3 were lazy and or untalented.

EA does a half ass job on just about every game they make. The only reason I think they aren't getting a good FPS on the Playstation 3 is because they're to lazy to take full advantage of the system.

      But, that's just my opinion.

I think that they are a tad arrogant for saying that, they are very talented people, but it doesn't mean the people working on other games aren't talented. There are a lot of designers out there that have amazing vision and amazing ideas, but can they create these visions on PS3, no because the thing is hard to program for, you can say Team Ninja can do it, yes they can, but can new and upcomming developers make games for it, no. Team Ninja can say that the other devs are untalented but PS3 should be a lot easier to develop for.

Haha "you can say Team Ninja can do it, yes they can, but can new and upcomming developers make games for it, no."

This is EA we're talking about, are you kidding? This company has so much money they could get anything they wanted done just because of their deep pockets.

"but can new and upcomming developers make games for it, no."

EA is not a new and upcoming developer. EA only cares about money and it's cheaper to just do a straight port than rewrite the game for the PS3's hardware, but when you do it like that you get a bad frame rate so EA complains.

I guess that confirms me buying Army of Two for 360, then. I wonder what would happen if EA let Team Ninja have a go...

EA...that's says it all tbh. They don't want to put the extra work in for the PS3 version, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came out half arsed or even cancelled for the PS3. =|

Apparently EA doesn't realize that the PS3 would love to rip through that game at 120FPS at 1080p, but can't due to crappy and lazy coders.

I think that EA guy may have been fired for his laziness and is disgruntled.
