Gamers who want to give the horror FPS sequel a shot can do so now on any of its platforms, though for PS3 owners, you'll need to be a Qore subscriber. The demo offered is for the single player mode.

Xbox 360 owners, go here (or just download via XBLM), and PC gamers go here or here.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin releases February 10th in North America and 13th in Europe.

Wooo, go ed. This looks like a decent game, it's a shame i've only played the demo of the first game, and I thought that it wasn't such a bad game tbh. Gutted I never bought it, and I don't even like horror games.

Was alright. Not enough to convince me to buy it on day one but I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually.

Kind of sucks you have to have a Qore subscription on the PS3. But you do pay for 360 service so I guess it evens out.

You can download all demos with a (free) silver account, can't you?

Thankfully in Aus we get it like we would a normal demo, no need to pay for anything to get it.

As Ultima states, to all you American gamers wishing you could get this but can't it is on the European store for free. As long as you have an EU account you will be able to get this bypassing that Qore bullshit.

    Demo was ok.
Rent-worthy for me at least upon release.

Just finished playing it and absolutely loved it.It shits all over the disappointment that was the first FEAR.

It rarely happens but the it scared the crap out of me.

You must've played the first FEAR on PS3.

The PC and 360 versions were great.

Everyone thinks the PS3 version made me disappointed in the game.My disappointment had nothing to do with how terrible a port the PS3 version was.

I was expecting to have Alma chasing me through at least half the game and she barely showed up.I was also expecting her to be killing people left right and center.

I barely even used the slo-mo which was supposed to be such a great part of the game.

From all the praise I heard of the game before playing it, I expected a LOT more out of it.

I liked their use of Alma and used bullet-time frequently.

Different people, different opinions I s'pose.

Update: it's now on the PS Store -- you just had to wait longer if you weren't a Qore subscriber.
