very much so
better mark my calendar
Don't you mean 2010?
Just a new Ghost Recon game. It doesn't say it's going to continue the story arc of Advanced Warfighter. It's going to create a new scenario.
I'd really love to see a Next-Gen Splinter Cell game. While I don't like the games, I do think they're usually high quality, well made, and very deserving of the praise it gets. I can't wait for a new one.
I'm also pretty excited for AC2. I really liked the first one a lot.
I think it'll be amazing.
I'm not saying it looked bad, in fact, if you actually read what I posted, you'll see I said that they've all looked great. I'm just saying a game can't take full advantage of the newer consoles, AND have the exact same version on the previous consoles.
I don't see how that's not understood.
Just because it's released while the next gen consoles are out, doesn't mean it's a next gen game. For the exact same game to work on previous consoles, they obviously have to hold back. Unless the PS2 is as powerful as the Xbox 360, which is just not true.
Like I said before, I want a game to take FULL advantage of the power of newer consoles, and be excluded from the previous ones, because I don't want anything held back.
However, I do understand the reasons behind them creating a cross-gen game with SC:DA, because at the time, the shift from one gen to the other wasn't nearly as far along as it is now.
And, poo, your argument made me laugh. SC:DA had THE EXACT SAME VERSION of the game on both generations of consoles. Obviously, they had to hold back so that the older consoles could handle it. Are COD5 and TFU the same exact games on the DS as they are on the PS3 and 360? Nope.
Not to mention, the DS isn't a console, it's a hand-held. So I'd think it would go without saying that it's excluded from this argument.
Lol, maybe I'm wrong and they are all the same version... I didn't know the DS was so damn powerful. I think I'll pick one up and sell my consoles.
I'd say the only real difference between the two would be that the 360 version could probably be played in HD.
They both looked the same in SD. If the 360 version was different than the PS2 version, then that would not be the case
If the game was ONLY on the 360, then it would looked much better than it actually did.
Drogo, that's really confusing. Why can you not wait for a new one to come out when you hate the series?
It's just that, I think they're great games, and I'd love to see how amazing they can get. They just aren't games I'm into.
It's sort of like how you might hate a musician, because you don't like listening to his music, but you can still think he makes good music.
I've never really gotten into Splinter Cell, but I can't deny that they're great games.
