Some burglars broke into a house and stole a tarantula, ignoring an Xbox 360 console and hundreds of game scattered all over the floor. That's what we could call stupid thieves and lucky gamer!

Liam Douglas could by considered by gamers a lucky person since burglars who broke into his house ignored his Xbox 360 console and stole his tarantula (which was wisely named Fangs). The bonus: “hundreds” of Xbox 360 games were also on the floor at the time, and they were also ignored by the thieves (which means they were probably over 80 or something). That’s what I call lack of inspiration!

You have no idea how hard I'm laughing right now.

Not at the story, at the fact that you put "stupidest".

      It's actually a word...I didn't think it was either.

Since the English language is degrading since people are using things like text speak and whatnot, it's all going downhill from here.

It's very unfortunate, especially in a world where people such as myself attempt to refine our grammar throughout our lives due to a love of the English language.

Whatnot has been a word since I can remember.

The worst thing is that nothing can stop our degrading society except some form of world changing event in the near future (something Star Trek like I suppose). The likelihood of such a thing occurring however is rather low to say the least.

Maybe they just wanted the Tarantula...

It's incredible how a story like this makes it onto a games news site...

Lucky *bleep*, he should thank god they ignored hundreds of dollars/pounds/whatevers of hardware and stole a spider. Still, it would suck losing your pet.

Then again, a tarantula is a lot harder to track down than a 360, and a lot smaller to carry. Really, the thief made himself harder to catch this way, so it may be much smarter.

clearly anyone who robs you and ignores your video games is stupid

Where actually just gonna do a B&E so they could say they have done it before, but the tarantula spotted them and they didn't want to leave any witnesses.

At least that is what I was thinking.

Y'know, there owner of that tarantula could've had a strong bond with it, and in that case, he would've rather had his xbox stolen =(

I'd be more sad if someone stole my cat rather than my 360

I would do the same, my insurance would cover the console but I could never replace a pet.

Even while looting a house Krunal refuses to touch a 360.

Who knew a tarantula was worth $350! That is rather surprising. Poor Liam though.

That tarantula will never be the same again.

They probably cared specifically about the tarantula. I mean we don't even know why specifically they wanted to steal to begin with.

Who the frig would break into a house to steal a tarantula? I mean, yeah, it costs a good amount, but there must have been tons of games all scattered around the floor, plus an xbox 360 would give them a LOT more money.

I'd rather get in grab something valuable and get out then spend time taking a 360 and hundreds of games. Better to get a small payday and be free, then risk getting caught.

You all say stupid. I say a free thief is a smart, or very lucky, thief.

Maybe it was Les Stroud of Survivorman from the Discovery channel.
