Halo Wars, Ensemble Studios' upcoming RTS set in the Halo universe, has gone gold and is ready to ship to the factory for duplication. The game is scheduled for a February 27th release in Japan and Europe, while North American gamers will have to suffer until March 3rd. The game chronicles the early battles in the Human-Covenant war.

Fans of Halo rejoice! For the upcoming RTS Halo Wars has gone gold with an official release date of March 3rd. You will be able to play the demo on February 5th as well as see a video documentary series over the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.     Why would they release it first in Japan anyways? They own the lowest number of 360s and dislike games like Halo (although this might become an exception).
