Alex now plots his progress through the development cycle of an XNA game on Gaming Verdict with the aim of releasing it on to the Community Games portal of Xbox Live.

So there I am, sat at home after a thoroughly hectic Christmas and New Year. There are no more films on the telly and surely I've seen every episode of Top Gear by now? With employment going through a somewhat lax phase, I was in need of something to do. As the only thing I know how to do is make games, making a game rose to the top of a very short list indeed. (The other things ran into problems as my lottery numbers steadfastly refuse to appear and I just don't have Jessica Alba's details...)
