Guitar Hero World Tour - Three New Track Packs

Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement of three new Track Packs for Activision's Guitar Hero World Tour, due to arrive throughout February on PLAYSTATION3, Wii and Xbox360.

Having already delivered fans over 70 rockin’ downloadable tracks for Activision Publishing, Inc.’s Guitar Hero World Tour since the game’s October 2008 launch, three new Track Packs spanning a variety of musical genres and multiple artists will be available throughout February 2009 to Guitar Hero fans across the globe.

    Those are some good bands, but if you ask me, the DLC for this game is been pretty mediocre. The only good track pack was the Eagles, but there was really only one good song there. Activision seems to be really cutting corners and giving people the "lame of the best" songs from bands. I'd say about 1 song per pack is worth picking up. These are no less. They don't even have "Turn The Page". Wtf? (I know its gonna be on GH: Metallica but do they have a device that'll let them export those songs onto one media disc for play instead of swapping every time they want to play a different set of songs?).

    The best song in there is "Jet" by Wings. The others don't sound really interesting.
