Electronic Theatre reports on confirmation of the European release of Hello Pocoyo! from PlayV, a pre-school title aimed at under 5's for the NintendoDS.

PlayV has announced that its officially-licensed pre-school title Hello Pocoyo! will be released for NintendoDS on the 27th February.

    Yeah, same here. I don't think there's any point for all these young child games because they probably wont know what they have to do. O__o

    You guys obviously don't spend much time around children! My three-year-old godson plays on his dad's PlayStation2 and Xbox360 (which, coincidentaly, he was born on the same day it launched in the UK!!!). He's completed Bob the Builder for PlayStation2 and gives his dad a challenge at Soul Calibur IV. While he hasn't quite got the idea of level structure, he's ok at Halo 3 deathmatching.

    A game like this is perfect for young children to play WITH their parents. He's three, so won't have a DS himself, but his mum's DS is ready for use, and he knows how to work the Touch Screen...

    Yeah, well, I still don't think that much babies would play game consoles, I've seen a toddler with a DS in a shop once and the Mum was doing almost everything.

      Children are beginning gaming at very young ages these days.
