Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
12 hours 48 mins ago
Those wary of the scores given to Playstation exclusives by Official Playstation Magazine's need fear no longer, for Sony's much anticipated shooter seems to be garnering such high scores and praise right across the board.
Eurogamer posted their Killzone II review at 5PM this evening, and it got a firm thumbs-up from the tough-marking website. The final verdict? PS3 owners can rejoice, because in Killzone II, the Playstation 3 finally has the first-person shooter experience it's owners have been craving.
This is a methodical shooter that makes few concessions to those not already interested in its single-minded approach to cover-based military action. I've compared it to Rainbow Six in the past, but it also calls to mind F.E.A.R, another tough tactical effort that was often misunderstood by those expecting a frag-happy spook hunt. Killzone 2 is a taut and muscular game, a shooter that gives back more than you put in, provided you have the intestinal fortitude. It may take its time revealing its true depths and pleasures, but the journey is well worth taking. Between Killzone 2's unforgiving grit and Resistance 2's alien-bursting excess, the PS3 finally has both ends of the shooter spectrum covered in grand style.

I'll be taking this review with a pinch of salt.
Anyways its good to see this game get good reviews, considering the first one didn't get all that good scores.
-pronoun
1. the nominative singular pronoun, used by a speaker in referring to himself or herself.
There's just so many FPS's released this gen that are better than them both (just off the top of my head); Bioshock, COD2, 3, 4 and WAW, The Orange Box, Left4Dead, Vegas 1 and 2 and Far Cry 2. Nearly all of those are on the PS3 as well.
CoD2 3 and 4? Better than 2 and 3, maybe on par with 4
The Orange Box is 5 different games, that doesn't really count.
Left4Dead gets really boring after 3 hours
Vegas 1 was seriously not my cup of tea, part 2 was alot better, but I preferred Resistance.
Far Cry 2 was boring as hell.
And Red, you do realise the whole point of the comments thing is to share opinions, right? You can easily scroll over our posts if you don't want to read them.
If you don't have anything constructive to say, than I am ending this here.
Good to see EuroGamer warming up to the PS3. Pity about the lack of campaign co-op; that would have certainly made this game a GOTY. I don't know what GG was smoking when they retardedly left that out; co-op is what made Halo and Gears so damn fun.
There's not a review out there that's given it lower than a 9, so yeah...
While we're at it, the multiplayer is pretty goddamn awesome so I have no doubts in that department. The only other part I need to look out for would be the campaign.
EDIT: (for those who haven't taken AP Trigonometric Functional Calculusistic Imaginary Mathematics yet, HOLYSHITIBURNEDADOZEN360SFORNOTHING is the equivalent of an infinite amount of infinite infinities, to the power of a very finite number)
