Runes of Magic is a game built on the foundations of some of the most successful MMORPGs. It has many similarities with games such as Guild Wars and World of Warcraft, but once you try it, you will see it has many unique features as well. It is developed by a Taiwanese company and published by a german company. May I add that the English translation is flawless? The game is also available in German.

Runes of Magic is free to play, has over one thousand quest (including daily quests), has a unique dual-class system, player housing right from the start, lots of skills, great control scheme (you can move with the mouse or use the WASD/arrow buttons) and a lot more.

The game is currently in Open Beta, which means it's very close to release and everyone can register and play it right now! There will be no character wipe after the open beta! (links in the source)
