Kung Fu Panda wins "Best Animated Video Game of 2008"

The 36th Annual Annie Awards are all about animation. So which game won the "Best Animated Video Game of 2008" award? Kung Fu Pand did, beating out both Dead Space and Wall·E.

Kung Fu Panda Had The Best Video Game Animation Of 2008. Conversation Over.

Kung Fu Panda? Says who? Says the International Animated Film Society, that's who. The video game based on Dreamworks Animation's movie of the same name just scored an Annie, beating out Dead Space and Wall·E.

    How the F can it beat Dead Space? A movie game none the less. WTF is the world coming too where people who dont even play the games get to chose which ones are the best?

        Yeah, I gotta admit, the title of the award is misleading. But they're talking about the game's animation.

        (Even so... I haven't played the game, but I can't imagine it having the best of the best animation??)

          Looks pretty decent, the animation is nice and everything flows smoothly.

          Well the game was made by Sierra (I think) and they're not exactly slouches in the gaming industry.

    Did anyone even buy this game? They had to bundle it with 360's just to get rid of stock.

    I rented it for the 360, but didn't actually play it. So . . . I don't know.

    I liked the movie though haha

    Hey, at least WALL-E was beaten. Disyney's just not the same. >.>

    I don't like Dead Space, but it probably should have won.

      All disney did was publish that movie, Pixar did all the hard labor.

      I don't get what they mean by animated? Im kinda lost as im mixing it up.

    What?! Are you kidding me?! kung fu panda is garbage compared ot wall-e. Wall-e had so much more heart. Best pixar movie so far.

    I haven't seen either. Wanted to see KFP howver, but Bee Movie was so pathetic. I watched it with my little cousin and it was horrible.

    I'll probably end up watching WALL-E.
