Rock Band to get rest of Chinese Democracy Album

Rock Band 2 Will be getting the whole new Guns N Roses album coming some time this Spring, following the tune 'Shackler's Revenge', which has already been released. While some may be looking forward to this, i know i for one am not getting it, as i just don't like their new stuff. The album will contain all songs apart from 'Shackler's Revenge' as it is already on Rock Band 2.

After Guns N' Roses premiered "Shackler's Revenge," its first new single in nine years, through last fall's release of Rock Band 2, the band has revealed that the multi-instrument music game will soon receive the rest of the Chinese Democracy album.

    Oh, yay!

    Kind of pointless though, to be honest. The drums on CD are generic at best, but it'd be great fun to try and nail some of Buckethead's guitar stuff, and of course Axl's vocals.

    Wonder how they're gonna handle 'This I Love' though - it's just piano and Axl for nearly 2 minutes!

      Axl's still in the band, and he's a very talented singer in my opinion.

    You should read Slash's autobiography before making comments like that...

    He didn't even write most of the riffs from Appetite For Destruction. In-fact, the only ones he's credited with are 'Paradise City' and 'Rocket Queen'.

    This is awesome. "Better" is gonna be an awesome song to sing, and "There Was a Time" has probably the best guitar on the whole album. I'm not sure if I'll buy the whole album yet (I haven't listened to the last 3 tracks yet...), but I'm definitely getting the majority. Sure I'd rather have classic Gn'R, but this will do just fine.

    I thought the new album was weak. I didn't listen to it all that much, but it sounded like they were trying to be like Rage Against the Machine or something on a couple of tracks.
