Electronic Theatre details Data Design Interactive push to launch the first-ever "Real" 3D title. Battle Rage: The Robot Wars is a Wii exclusive release based on a PC title. Video included.

The media has been salivating about how the future of entertainment will be in 3D, and with fourteen planned 3D film releases, this year 2009 is the year of 3D. DDI will lead the videogames industry with 3D support planned in all its future titles. While some companies are looking at expensive 3D technology requiring specialised and expensive TV’s and headsets. Data Design Interactive has continued with its accessible family friendly pricing, and found solutions through proven technology and software rather than hardware.

Exactly. No matter how pathetic this title may become, its a step in the right direction and a tickle with new technology. This is good news.

My TV specifically said 3D ready. So I'm ready...I'm just not sure I want.

    We shall see

You already own a 3D tv?! How much did that cost you?

I thought they were only planning to release them late this year?

It's just capable of producing the 3D programming they're planning on airing later this year.

It's nothing special at all, but it was listed under features.

It's DLP though, like most of the digital theaters that have been airing so much HD 3D content.

Groundbreaking 3D technology gives you the benefits of both a flat-panel set and 3D movie viewing and gaming.
This is what it says on the site, I saw somewhere when looking at specs that it said 3D ready.

          So I dunno.

Samsung has had this feature on some of the 120Hz DLP TV's for awhile now.
But you have to buy the special glasses separately.

Oh there the ones with glasses, I thought he meant he had one of those proper 3D tvs that don't need glasses.

A lot of people do actually. It goes away a little for most people after awhile, but some develop headaches.

I'm still not very excited about this. 3D glasses suck ass in my opinion. I hope that there is the option to choose between 3D and normal gaming.

      It doesn't use glasses.

This is what it looks like. Execpt on a TV and not using projectors.

Bare in mind going from the ones i've seen, it looks much better then this now because this video is more then a year old

Title is kind of cheesy to me, but you can't blame it since it's the first game of its kind to be released. When these start to pick up, I would love to play one.
