A list of games that girls like to play, too. Some of the items on the list include the likely Bust-A-Move and Mario games. But an odd game that was mentioned happened to be Tekken 5.

What? Valentines Day? Again?! Wasn’t there one, like, just last year? Well, yeah, there actually was, but that doesn’t mean you have to get all huffy about it. And it also doesn’t mean that you have to put down your joystick (Ah hur, hur, hur, innuendo), just because your girlfriend/mistress/concubine wants to spend some quality time with you on February 14th. Recent studies, mostly ones I just made up, say that girls actually LIKE to play video games. Even better, many of them would actually like to play them with YOU. That is, of course, if you’re not a big jerk about it and don’t make an effort to beat them every chance you get. So below are great seven games that like girls, too. Enjoy.

Uh... yeah... whatever. I understand this is supposed to be a joke, but it's a pretty contrived one, which we've seen billions of times by now. Also, "concubine"? Really? Why don't you just refer to her as "bitch" next time?

Here's some games quite a few girls may be willing to try. If your significant other isn't a gamer though, you may need to do most of the killing or offer reassurances. I'd personally put Gears of War on that list, but the following may be better options.

Seven (better) games girls are also likely to play:

    1. Halo 3 (there are a lot of girls in this game)
    2. Team Fortress 2 (also a decent number of female players)
    3. Burnout (any one will do)
    4. Soul Calibur IV (non-gamer girls often choose Talim)
    5. Left 4 Dead (just let us be Zoey)
    6. MMOs (Guild Wars, WoW, RO, etc. all have a big female user base)
    7. Audiosurf (bright colors and great music from YOUR PC)

This? This wondrous display of love and affection from strange men (and boys) over the Internet? It fills my heart with joy and has transformed me into a narcissist.

yep. RCG, everything on your list is true. I haven't seen many girls on SC, though. I have seen spammers, abraisive laggers, and douhebags, though.

Wow, that is a much better list. My sister plays 5/7 of those.

Well, I want Audiosurf but the way for buying it isn't for me, Left 4 Dead? I'm hesitating to buy it because it will be a new addiction for achievement. TF2? I'm already addicted. In the HK clan and community, there is enough girls for doing a 12 vs 12 girls/guys matches.

So, yeah, Rabid, I agree with you. Though that I love Tetris and I wouldn't mind playing Tekken 5. I just see the original list as for younger girls than me.

        RabidChinaGirl Feb 9, 09
Yep, nothing against the games in the original list. It's just the sad fact that the article and list themselves are intentionally stereotypical.

Really? I mean, seriously? If anyone on Neoseeker published something like this, I'd fly to Vancouver just to smack him in the ear.

Yes, it's really stereotypical. I'm surprised that they didn't put The Sims in it for making it more stereotypical.

For the 14th February, I don't imagine myself with someone and play games.

lmao what a load of bollocks and www.girlgamer.co.uk will tell you that, which this all girl gamer clan will be the first girl clan to play Battlefield Heroes. They also play COD 4 and COD: WAW.

However their member community plays a mixture of games which funnily enough, those that are listed are not played at least that's the impression they give

Which just a note, my BFH clan are working on a future alliance with them, hell I ain't stupid to piss off one girl, let alone a whole clan of them

      Slumpy monkey Feb 8, 09
Alliance lol, what are they going to do if you piss them off.
      • 0
        ShadowJ Feb 9, 09
You've not had the pleasure...or more so pain of pissing a girl off have you? XD

In real life, the clan can't do anything but virtually....oh, they can make your life a living hell...pretty much like they can in real life if you know them

          Slumpy monkey Feb 9, 09
I have actually, but I fail to see what they can do over the internet anyway, why pussy foot around them because their girls.

player1-"Oh hey, that girl gamer joined"
player2-"oh man let's leave we wont want her to get angry at us for killing her!"
player1-"Yeah this one time I hear she sent this guy an angry message!"
          "player 2 disconnects"

Simple answer is, don't be a douchebag online in general and that problem wont even arise.

Mario Kart DS is a very fun game which I've been playing on and off for about a year now so shows it's addictive. xD Point is I know a lot of girls who play it, so I can see why that would be there and Guitar Hero is a given...

Whenever I see an artical about girl gamers I recall the only two girl gamers I've ever met or likely ever to meet. One moved away when we were just starting to restore our relationship, the other began a relationship with a none gamer right before I did, 2 years later and they're still together...

No other girls will even look at a game (and if they do it's often in a magazine and/or shovelware).

Those girls play The Sims, Halo and Zelda, but none of the others mentioned in this article.

      vicrabb Feb 9, 09
Well, Zelda has marked a generation of players, girls and boys together. I play zelda on my handheld but that's because it's a feeling coming from my chilhood while playing on the NES .

This list failed to mention The Sims. I mean, COME ON! :S

Tek, you should complain...I mean you play it alot and they disregarded it? Hell that is just downright sexist >:3

I am neither female nor do I play The Sims. You don't know me at all! You suck *deletes from Steam friends list*

          ShadowJ Feb 9, 09
*sniffles* fine! Not that we played much...I wanted this relationfriendship to work in L4D but you ignored me each time, I want a divorce!

P.s Ok we should stop mocking this article now...wait...no, I think we should carry on

Some of those games are so stereotypical ¬¬
However he was right with Tekken, I *bleep*ing love that game. Mainly because of how the girl characters look cool.

I play Guitar Hero on DS, and Mario Kart DS but yeah, I hate Sims but it's just begging to be included.

First poster stole the discussion. XD

The only games I've ever seen my girl-friends play are the multi-player ones. Apparently, they don't like playing alone.
    • 0

I prefer to play alone than in multiplayer. TF2 is my only exception.

    Storm Feb 9, 09
I can vouch for Tekken in a sense for the non-gamer girls. My cousins like playing that game when they come over.

    BANDITO ATTACK Feb 9, 09
i dont play video games with women so idk. :0

    Deathsythe Feb 10, 09
My girlfriend for instance loves Viva-Pinata but at the same time she always wants to play Soul Calibur IV.

Doesn't matter to me, I do have a problem letting her with at SC4 though, and it tends not to happen all that often..
