Dead Rising 2 has now been announced for the 360, PS3 and PC. From the looks of the screenshots it will be set in Vegas and will no longer feature Frank but a blonde guy in a biker jacket, the virus is now spreading throughout the US. No release date has yet been announced but guessing it would probably be either Q4 2009 or Q1/2 2010 imo.

Following constant teases and a viral video on Friday, Capcom today confirmed that The Bigs veteran Blue Castle is developing Dead Rising 2 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Following the original Xbox 360-only Dead Rising, which hit in 2006, the sequel will be set in the Las Vegas-inspired "gambling paradise of Fortune City." Capcom noted that the zombie virus is now "spreading unchecked throughout the United States."

    Nice.

Think I will get the PS3 version. Like the controller better. And since I'm not an achievement whore controller preference is more important to me. Choice is a good thing.

      I'm torn between both, man...

I am a Trophy/Achievement fan...but I'm not all the way down to "Whorish" level, I find that annoying. I've got plenty of Achievements for the first one but my PS3 Trophies are pretty beefed up...Decisions, Decisions...

I'll be getting it for my 360, its what the first game was on and its what i intend to keep my dead rising on. I'm used to the controls on the 360 anyway and still play DR alot.

Anywhere I can get help for being an Achievement Whore. Yes, I did purchase Kung Fu Panda and Indiana Jones Lego for the 2k Achievement points....and I have a life I swear.
