The worst selling (but perhaps most beloved) Tales game ever is coming to theaters in the form of an animated film. It's not the first game to be adapted as such, but it is the first to be released in theaters.

To be released some time this year, Tales of Vesperia the animated film will be helmed by Kanta Kamei, a prolific key animator making his directorial debut. Other information to be found in the blurb was limited to the film's studio (Kadokawa Pictures) and lead voice actor (Kosuke Toriumi, who portrayed hero Yuri in the original game).

[...] one has to wonder if the film isn't being designed to cross-promote something. A PlayStation 3 version, perhaps?

I wonder if it would ever come to America,I doubt it,but it would be cool as long as it doesn't stray too far from the story of the game .

Sweet! I hope it gets an international release, or at least someone to sub it. Great game.
