It appears that the Aliens: Colonial Marines game, that was stated to be released in Q1 2009 has now been pushed back to 2010. Also, news of a new Alien vs. Predator game has been released, stating that this new game will be released in 2010 also, but before both Aliens games. This is bad news for us fans who were looking forward to seeing colonial marines hitting shelves this year.

A new Aliens vs. Predator game will arrive in early 2010, publisher Sega has announced, with the company noting that AvP will hit before its other two Aliens games.

That means Gearbox's shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines (PC, PS3, 360) and Obsidian's Aliens RPG won't debut until 2010, at the very earliest. Colonial Marines was originally expected last year, and was recently listed as a Q1 2009 release by Sega Europe.

are they gonna have that thing in it from the end of alien vs predator 1, where the alien sexed up the predator and an alien/predator was born and the predator is still fighting to get child support

I can honestly say I am ecstatic that Colonial Marines has been pushed back. Seriously, have any of you ever even seen an Alien movie, let alone Aliens? First off, there's no way a squad of four marines could stand up to 2 Xenomorphs for an extended period. I mean, in the movie, over half the marines died before they killed a single Xeno. Second, Ripley, Bishop, Newt, and Hicks barely got out of the Aliens' nest before it exploded, hence NO MORE ALIENS!!!

Of course, I happen to be an Alien Quadrilogy fanatic, so these things might not bother the rest of you.

I'm gutted over the Colonial Marines news, although, it was to be expected. I knew all along that it wouldn't come out Q1 this year when we had not been given much info at all besides a handful of screenshots.

      Oh well.
