The latest issue of PlayStation magazine reveals a whole new mode will be coming to Resident Evil 5 through downloadable content (DLC) at some point, presumably for both consoles.

Rumour has it its some kind of versus and/or 16-player online mode...

“The fun doesn’t end when you complete RE5’s main story-line,” comments the review. “We’re sworn to secrecy, but we’ve had a peek at an unlockable mode for forthcoming DLC, and it’s awesome.”

Thus far, Capcom have done no hinting at what the possible DLC could be, but if the mag is so secretive about the content, it should certainly be a lot better than a handful of unlockable costumes.

Taking a bit of a jab against SFIV I see: "...it should certainly be a lot better than a handful of unlockable costumes."

And all multiplatform. This sounds awesome.
Love to the equality in both the development and support of each console. Certainly moreso equal than other big AAA titles anyway..

Can't it just come with the game? Or are they planning to leech more money out of us by selling stuff that by all rights should have been in the game to begin with? :l

It can come with the game, but your second option is just so appealing.

I'd rather have the game sooner tbh
