World of Warcraft Lead Designer Leaves WoW For New Blizzard MMO

Jeffrey "Tigole" Kaplan is moving on to newer, bigger and better things. Namely, a new MMO being developed by Blizzard. This news was revealed on the WoW forum boards.

If you're unhappy with your World of Warcraft character's class, you won't have Jeffrey "Tigole" Kaplan to blame anymore. The WoW lead designer in charge of world design will be moving on to another MMO.

    That new MMO is quite blatantly WoW 2. So in other words because the major content has been released and WoW is on its last expansion now, he's moving over to working on its sequel. Blizzard themselves said that the last content patch was going to be fighting Arthus and that would be the end of the WoW content updates and that there wouldnt be anymore expansions for WoW.

    Starcraft 2 is being worked on and so is Diablo 3. I doubt they'd do a Starcraft or Diablo MMO while they are developing them, and they said that they werent going to be creating anymore universes for awhile.

    I like how you exclaimed that they were "Bigger, better" this that he has to deal with now. I'll bet WoW fanboys will be annoyed at that statement.
