We know that the Japanese make some odd games. You have your I love Katamari and Loco Roco. Those games are cute and fun, but some get a little on the disgusting side.
Amazon.com recently yanked sales of a Japanese game that simulated the act of raping girls.

Chicago (IL) - A game released in 2006 by Illusion studio, a game maker based on Japan, has now been pulled from Amazon's online game store. The game, entitled Rapelay, allows players to simulate the act of raping girls.

Ok well this is a good thing, they shouldn't make games about that. It's one thing to kill video game characters but to do a crime such as rape is just horrible. I really believe that is crossing the line and good for Amazon for taking it off.

Even I think that games involving rape seem a little strange. Especially Japanese ones.

In case nobody gets it, my take is that this is just a stupid little stunt by Amazon. YET, people are oblivious that there are items in stock that are far worse on both ends of the spectrum. And the one item I linked to is merely a video (which, for irony's sake, initially was a game in the first place). There's another title called Little Monica Monogatari that has an underage girl in it.

I do not endorse Princess (which is bad) and Monica (which is just hilarious) but Amazon is just plain being inconsistent. This little controversy is nothing more than "video games are interactive", only with porn.

And Amazon's not going to do jack shit about it. Why? Because their Marketplace Sellers will be doing the job. And Amazon's doing the favor of listing the item. HAW.

Actually they were notified by a buyer, of this game being rapetastic.

So they took it down, if you complained to them about that thing you posted it would probably get taken down aswell.

........I had meant the game could of been worse. I know half the stuff we can import theirs atleast 20x worse in japan.

Stuff like this isn't new. Dodgy games have been around since consoles were first invented.
