Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Hits Platinum Range

Electronic Theatre details the arrival of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots in the PLAYSTATION3's budget Platinum Range this March. (Although the article says "Europe", it's a global thing!)

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that its heralded PLAYSTATION3 epic Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be released as part of the budget Platinum range from March 5th across Europe.

    That boxart is terrible. The Platinum color is red, and that's not even an official boxart design.

      thats the european box art design, i prefer it to the american design and the european platinum range has always been that colour

      As mentioned before, that's the EU box art. Besides, not that it matters what the box art looks like, it's what's inside. 8]

    Yeah the games are always silver coated for the Platnum range.

    Not really suprising, if any game was going to make it, it would be Metal Gear Solid 4.

      The box art here is the standard UK boxart with the 'gold award' stickers etc on it. I always prefered this boxart to the US boxart.

    THere's a reason why the UK boxart and the US boxart's are always different. It's because UK people and US people have different tastes in art.

          Those were the official numbers released by Konami a few weeks ago. Which I think is very impressive for a title catering almost entirely to the hardcore.

    I'm just peeved that I spent $84 on it just recently when I could have waited and gotten it for $49.95. Just my luck...

    Noo, now all the cheapos will be buying it. They don't get the lovely box of the original though, and disc.
