Mass Effect 2 Secrets Revealed
10 hours 42 mins ago
EarthBound fan-site (the EarthBound fan-site) Starmen.net reveals that the ESRB rating was a mistake and also takes a look at the history of their attempts to get EarthBound onto Nintendo's Virtual Console.
Early in the summer of 2007 Starmen.Net received an unsolicited message:
"EB on VC in July."
There wasn't much else to the message. We were skeptical at first -- EarthBound fans have endured more ill-fated rumors, delays, false starts, cancellations and disappointments than probably any other fanbase in gaming history, so we approach everything with a healthy skepticism. Like, 0% body fat skepticism.

whatever. what do i care, i dont play wii. i love how they totally know how awesome that games fanbase is, yet they just say FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUUU to them over and over again. the earthbound fanbase is probably the most loyal fanbase to any nintendo game ever, and they just get rooked at every turn.
dayhour for updates.Nintendo has let down Earthbound fans... But they were kind enough not to tell the Translation Team to cease and Desist.
I'm somehow glad, I played Earthbound to death a long time ago, so now I won't be wasting money on something I know I don't need but get for the nostalgia (like Super Mario 64, which I 100%'d in a few hours).
Although it'd be nice to see some of my friends play, they've seen me play and all insult the game, the biggest insult was probably the large number of 'hardly-gamers' comparing it to Pokemon.
Another friend of mine directly stated that Pokemon was the only good turn based RPG (despite never playing any other Nintendo RPGs).
Oh wait, your Australian... never mind, you won't find any.
Although on the plus side, I only know one PS3 owner, and he won it in some stupid promotional contest.
And none of them can pronounce Wario (neither, I find, can most Americans).
Back on topic, there is a plus side to being an Australia gamer, and that's the fact that it's quicker to import stuff from Japan, like Mother 1+2.
theyre just bust being extra-safe lawyers. which is what theyre supposed to do i guess. somehow i dont think the beatles are too interested in suing a game that almost kinda borrows (read- pays homage) some elements from a few of their songs.
i mean, the game already exists in the states. nothing happened. are they THAT scared to release it again? what a bunch of girls.
Yeah, the worry's about nothing. Names cannot be copyrighted.
Also, it says no EarthBound on Virtual Console, not no MOTHER games being re-released EVER.
