Two Classic Characters Return For Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Reunion

While reviewing the dismal first person shooter Shellshock 2: Blood Trails this week, PlayStation Universe discovered that the horror sequel didn't feature Trophy support, something that was promised to be mandatory in all games released in 2009.
To clear the issue up and get clarification on the matter, we contacted SCE who confirmed that Trophy support is only mandatory in titles that were submitted for certification after January 1, 2009. According to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC,) Shellshock 2: Blood Trails was classified in June, 2008, so it was at the developer's discretion whether it included Trophy support or not. It's unlikely that this particular game will sell well, so it's also very improbable that it will ever receive the feature.

Or when sony made a contract with this developer mandatory trophy support wasn't in place then and so it wasn't in the contract.
edit- huh lucky guess.
So basically only games that are released in 10/ end of 09 will have mandatory trophies.
Unless there arcade games or just riff raff
No big deal though. I'm sure all triple A and first party titles will have them. And the lower teir games won't matter much in the long run. People that like them will play them those that don't well at least they won't be pulling some Avatar: The Last Airbender BS and buying them for easy trophies. I truly feel games like that ruined Achievements on the 360 because people were so hard after them they would buy or at least rent crap just to get the points.
