Electronic Theatre report on the state-of-play of the competition between PLAYSTATION3 and Xbox360 formats at the launch of Street Fighter IV in the UK, today.

Many reports of the overseas success have been concerned with the competition between the PLAYSTATION3 and Xbox360 releases. Though very early suggested sales figures may well be available already for the US, the UK does not yet have such luxuries. What the UK does have though, is an abundance of High Street retailers ignorant of the system rivalry altogether.

    Wh gives a flying crap which console it's selling better on? We all get to play it, why's it matter?

      Mainly because with Street Fighter, the D-pad is very important, and we all know that the 360's d-pad isn't exactly the best. So to see it selling more 360 is very interesting.

        Doesnt matter since more people probably buy the specialized control pads for the game on both consoles anyway.

    More 360 consoles in UK than PS3s = More people playing SF on 360. Logic.

    no one wants it on the ps3.
    my ken controllers taking forever in the post but the normal 360 controllers are pretty good forit anyway.
