Today, Capcom released an announcement via Xbox Live about a game that quote "many fans have told [Capcom] what they wanted from this [sequel]".

Last Friday, Capcom announced it would be unveiling a new game over Xbox LIVE on Monday. Well, today's Monday, and that game is Lost Planet 2.

This is not the first time we've recently heard of Lost Planet 2. We broke first the news last month that Dead Rising and Lost Planet developer Keiji Inafune had mentioned sequels for both titles.

One of the next gen game series which is actually pretty good if you never played the first. I'm glad 'Wayne' isn't the hero and I'm not bothered about the story but the gameplay looks hugely enjoyable again.

I'm hoping to hell that the aiming isn't all over the screen again, made online impossible for me. And if they turn that shit into "Gundam" fights again, I'm sure as hell not playing it.

I had watched the video as soon as it went up, pumped up that this could be an announcement for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 by how awesome it was sounding from the preview to the trailer. I was quickly disappointed.
