New DSi Colors for Japan

Three more colors will soon be available in Japan for the Nintendo DSi unit: Pink, Lime Green, and Metallic Blue. The new colors will be available on March 20th.

While gamers throughout the world are still buzzing about the impending release of the DSi in international markets, Nintendo gave a little present to its fans at home with the announcement of a new set of colors for Japan.

On March 20, the Japanese DSi lineup, currently limited to just black and white, will be boosted with Pink, Lime Green, and Metallic Blue offerings. These will carry the current price point of 18,900 yen.

    They're pretty sickly to be honest, if I had to pick I'd go with the pink and not just because I'm a guy who likes pink.

    I don't see the big deal in different colours. Doesn't in any way change how the product works.

    The metallic blue one reminds me of my GBA SP that is colored "Cobalt." That'd be the only reason I'd prefer it over the already existing colors.

    The green is pretty nice, but it sure doesn't beat the green colour of the D.S. Lites.

    I'm really psyched for the DSi, and will almost definitely get one right away, but I'll be very disappointed if (and probably when) they come out with a Zelda-themed one here in the states. I waited and waited on the DS Lite, and bought one just before Phantom Hourglass came out, only to see the Gold version a month later... which, of course, I bought. Oh well. The price of being a fan, I suppose.

    I'd prefer to see a black and red DSi myself,but I don't think I'll get a DSi at all.BTW,A metallic orange DSi would be cool imo.

    The blue is the worst one I think. The best one is the green one but not better than the DS lite green. That one is shiny translucent type of green.
